Thieves have targeted a school in West Clare.
Gardaí say a substantial sum of money was stolen when two safes were taken from St Joseph’s Secondary School in Spanish Point, which was targeted on Thursday last.
A number of other items were also taken.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information on the incident, or who may have seen anything suspicious in the area on Thursday night or Friday morning, to contact Kilrush Garda Station on 065 908 0550.
