A west Clare tourist attraction is being highlighted as one of the country’s coastal landmarks this Bank Holiday Weekend.
It’s part of an all island tourism initiative marking six of the 12 Great Lighthouses of Ireland, with Loop Head set to be included along with Hook Head in Wexford and Valentia Island in Kerry among others.
Over 27,000 visitors came to Loop Head in 2016, with events next weekend including tours, music, story telling and a local food and craft showcase.
