Shannon Development not “unduly worried about An Bord Snip.

The Head of Shannon Development is playing down reports the authority could be a victim of an Bord Snip Nua.

Vincent Cunnane was speaking at the launch of the organisation’s annual report today which showed more jobs were created than lost in 2008.

An Bord Snip’s report is believed to contain major cuts in a number of key areas and the government is coming under increasing pressure to publish it.

However Shannon CEO Vincent Cunnane says the authority is very cost efficient and shouldn’t be on the radar of An Bord Snip
