N67 Roadworks To Get Underway

A six million euro improvement scheme on part of the N67 route in South Galway will get underway this month.

The realignment works will be carried out between Kinvara and Ballinderreen, while stone walls along the route will be retained – a suggestion that they were to be removed was the focus of scrutiny and criticism in recent times.

Minister of State for Rural Affairs Seán Canney has welcomed the news, saying the road is no longer fit for purpose.
