Two more community projects in Clare are to benefit from a €230,000 boost under the LEADER programme.
€200,000 has been approved for the development of an all-weather astro pitch at the People’s Park in Kilmihil, while €30,000 will go towards the cost of renovating the Community Hall in Broadford.
This latest round of funding means over €4 million has been allocated to projects in Clare since the beginning of the scheme, while a further nine projects are currently being evaluated for combined €700,000 in funding.
