Proper Regional Development Will Help Disposable Income Grow – Nunan

An Ireland South candidate in the European Elections insists we need to see proper regional development to ensure counties like Clare have more disposable income.

New figures released by the CSO show that the average disposable income in Clare is just over €18,000 – this is a person’s annual income after income tax and social insurance.

That figure is some €2,500 behind the national average and €6,000 behind the capital.
