The Minister with responsibility for the OPW says his office engaging with Shannon Group with regards to flood protection works at the Airport.
It’s after the CFRAM study into flood risks nationally found the Airport is at risk of being ‘swept away’ without the required investment of almost 40 million euro.
New walls and embankments are proposed, and the Airport has also confirmed they are liaising with the OPW to address the potential risks.
