North Clare Business Awarded For Green Approach To Business

A North Clare salmon smokery has been recognised for its sustainable approach to business.

The Burren Smokehouse in Lisdoonvarna has been given the Green Seafood Business of the Year award at the annual Green Awards held this week.

It was in recognition for their efforts in reducing energy use by almost 30 percent as well cutting down on waste by 19 percent.
