A new thriller series set in a coastal town in Clare is set to gain national prominence over the weekend.
Smother, which was filmed in Lahinch, Liscannor, Spanish Point, Fanore, Ennistymon and Lisdoonvarna, will air its first episode of a six part series on Sunday evening on RTE One.
The joint RTE-BBC production has already been commissioned a second season and is set to return to Lahinch for filming at a later date.
