Clare’s Tidy Towns were presented with their prizes by the Environment Minister last night.
Minister Phil Hogan was at the Temple Gate Hotel, accompanied by representatives of Supervalu who sponsor the awards to name Ennis as the overall Mid-West Region winner of Tidy Towns 2013.

Clare’s County Town also retained the title of Ireland’s Tidiest Large Urban Centre, while Gold Medal awards were presented to Kilrush and Mountshannon.
Bronze Medal Awards went to Kilkee and Tuamgraney, as well as Ballina in County Tipperary.
