MidWest’s Dole Queues Get Longer

The number of people on the MidWest’s dole queues rose last month.

Just under 34,000 people are currently signing on Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary, an increase of 188 in January.

However, the figure is still 2,800 lower than at the same point last year.

Nationally, alst month saw a drop of 2,300 and the unemployment rate now stands at 12.3 per cent.
