The General Manager of MidWest Simon insists it’s not up to society at large to blame anyone for landing on hard times.
It’s after the director of the Dublin Region Homeless Executive Eileen Gleeson landed herself in hot water by claiming long term homelessness is a result of “bad behaviour”.
She also said it cannot be solved by the efforts of “ad hoc” volunteer groups – but later apologised for her comments.
