The Clare Councillor who is Chairman of the HSE's Health Forum West has given a cautious welcome to the changes in the medical card system.
Ennis area Fianna Fáil Councillor Tom McNamara says it's been a long time coming, and he feels it's important that family doctors are able to have an input into whether a patient is granted a medical card.
