McDonald Ready For Negotiations If Programme For Government Doesn’t Pass

The Sinn Féin President says they’re prepared to recommence negotiations with other parties in a view to forming a coalition, in the event that the programme for government doesn’t pass.

Fine Gael, Fianna Fáil and the Greens have been voting on the proposals this week, with a result of the postal ballot due tomorrow.

Should it pass, Micheal Martin will become the next Taoiseach on Saturday and Mary Lou McDonald will be the leader of the opposition.
