Man Shot Dead In Dublin City

Gardaí are investigating after a man was found shot dead in his car in Dublin city.

He was discovered just before 10am at Sheridan Court on Upper Dorset Street.

Gardaí discovered the man this morning in an underground car park with apparent gunshot wounds.

Earlier this morning gardaí found a car on fire on Clonliffe Avenue not far from the scene. In it they found a gun and a silencer

Mick O’Toole, Crime Correspondent with the Irish Daily Star, says gardai believe it’s related to the ongoing gang feud in the city.

If it is it would be the 12th fatality connected to the Kinahan/Hutch feud

Local Independent Councillor Nial Ring said the violence has to end.

The scene on Dorset St remains sealed off as gardaí continue their investigations.
