A father of three from Clonlara has been named as the man who died after falling on Carrauntoohil in Co Kerry yesterday.
58-year-old Ger Duffy fell several hundred feet at around midday yesterday at Hag’s Tooth on the mountain range.
Following a complex operation, his body was recovered by members of Kerry Mountain Rescue Team yesterday evening.

The recovery took several hours due to what members of Kerry Mountain Rescue described as “very complex ground”.
It’s believed Mr Duffy was an experienced hill walker who had climbed the mountain many times.
