A Kilrush native living in the Phillipines says he’s worried for his family, after a lone gunman set fire to a casino in Manila killing more than 30 people.

The perpetrator died in the incident, which police think was a botched robbery that killed 37 people and has left dozens in hospital.

Terrorism has been ruled out and police say they are looking for a person of interest who survived the fire.
