It’s claimed the decision by a US company to locate its European base here further confirms Shannon as a leading hub for the aviation industry.
Aircraft materials company Jetpower has secured a 25,000 square foot premises at Shannon Free Zone West, where it will establish its European base, with the creation of 25 jobs.
The facility will allow for the storage of engine parts, which will then be transported from Shannon Airport to Europe and across the world.
