Investigation Launched After Shot Fired Through Window In Kilrush

Gardai in Kilrush have launched an investigation after a suspected gunshot was fired through the window of a house this morning.

Gardai were alerted to the incident on the Wood Road in Kilrush shortly after 5am this morning and attended the scene.

A man, woman and several children were in the house at the time.

Gardai are undertaking a technical examination of the scene which will determine the course of their investigation.
