The Chair of Ennis Tidy Towns says they’ll be able to use the result of the IBAL litter survey to focus their cleaning efforts on the worst-hit areas in the town.
It follows the result of the Irish Business Against Litter survey for 2018, in which Ennis slipped from the top spot to 22nd in the list of 40 towns and cities.
IBAL has put that down to a small number of sites, with Ennis Train and Bus Station by far the most littered area in the county town.
