A 45 year old Clareman facing several counts of dangerous driving following a high speed Garda chase across two counties.
Up to six patrol cars from Ennis, Loughrea and Gort were involved in the operation
It happened on Saturday when a driver failed to stop at a check point in Loughrea
Gardai then gave chase as the vehicle headed towards Gort and Gardai from Ennis then joined the operation and the driver was finally arrested at a housing estate in Ennis.
He was brought to Ennis Garda Station where he was quizzed before being charged and then released on bail pending a court appearance.
