UHL Doctors Well-Placed To Outline Overcrowding Solutions – Carey

A Clare government TD insists senior clinicians at the region’s main hospital are well-placed to outline solutions to the problems there themselves.

It follows a letter issued by five signatories at University Hospital Limerick, who have said more money needs to be invested in the hospital to tackle their trolley numbers.

They’re also calling for more staff and community services, while criticising the fact that they receive less funding on a proportional basis than other hospital groups.
