Trolley numbers at the region’s main hospital have eased slightly today.
According to the INMO, there were 12 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick this morning; those being among 24 nationally.
It’s in contrast to last week, when there were no patients on trolleys at Dooradoyle on several days, with COVID-19 continuing to see unusually low numbers being admitted to Irish hospitals.

It means UHL is also the busiest facility nationally today, while the figure of 12 is down five from yesterday’s total of 17.
