Full-Time GP Services To Be Restored In Newmarket In Coming Weeks

The HSE has confirmed that full-time GP services are set to be restored in Newmarket-on-Fergus in the coming weeks.

The village has been without a family doctor since Dr Colm Hackett retired in May last year.

Delays in appointing a new GP prompted some speculation locally that the full-time GP service in the town would not be replaced.
