According to the INMO, there were 76 patients awaiting a bed at University Hospital Limerick this morning; 47 of those on trolleys in the emergency department alone.

The figure is almost 20 more than the next busiest facility, Cork University Hospital, while it’s just nine off UHL’s record figure of 85 on a single day.
