Gardaí are searching for the occupants of a car involved in a number of incidents in Clarecastle and Sixmilebridge.
A dark blue Audi hatchback reversed into the driveway of a house in Hillview, Clarecastle on Friday evening, after which two men broke into the house through the patio door.
They were disturbed by the residents’ teenage son and left empty-handed.

The same car went on to Sixmilebrige and at around 8.20pm, four men wearing gloves and balaclavas gained entry to a house in Woodview Heights, ransacked rooms and stole a safe containing a substantial amount of money.
