Property owners and landlords with vacant houses are being asked to consider short term lettings to accommodate those evacuated from their homes due to the flooding.
It follows an appeal on Clare FM earlier this week from Ennis Chamber of Commerce, which has resulted in a good response so far.
The Chamber and Ennis estate agents are now liaising with the Crisis management team to re-house a number of families, but they’re appealing for more rental properties.
