Former Clare-based INTO President Has Full Confidence In Schools Reopening On Monday

A former Clare President of the INTO says he has full confidence in schools in this county to be able to reopen on Monday.

Schools have been told to stop using around 50 sanitising products due to a “licensing issue”.

They include sanitisers, wipes, detergents and soaps but the Department of Education insists there’s no evidence they’re unsafe.

Schools are being assured they’ll receive funding to find alternative supplies.

Corofin Councillor and former principal Joe Killeen has been telling Clare FM’s Josh Prenderville that he believes schools will work over the weekend to ensure they can open their doors after the mid term break.
