Clare is set to receive its first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on January 18th.
Medical staff and residents at Carrigoran Nursing Home and Ennistymon Community Nursing Unit will be the first to get the jab, according to the Sunday Independent.
Two teams of vaccinators will each work 10 days to vaccinate all 16 of Clare’s nursing homes with the last to receive it on January 29th.

The HSE intends to begin the country’s vaccination programme on December 29th, originally it was thought it would begin on December 30th.
