Burren farmers are being urged to out submissions forward for a share of the 3 million euro Burren Programme Fund.
The project, which has been ongoing for the past eight years, has seen a number of similar initiatives launched elsewhere in the EU for farming in ecologically sensitive areas.
The Department of Agriculture has launched the last tranche of funding, as it’s due to expire next year, and the closing date for those interested is July 6th.
