A farm accident survivor is urging those in this county to attend a farm safety event in Kilmihil this week.
With the most dangerous time in the farming calendar just around the corner, rural organisations are coming together to host an awareness day tomorrow to ensure farmers here know the do’s and don’ts of physical labour.
There’ll also be advice and support on mental health issues, as well as animal handling and equipment demonstrations.
