Young people from 13 countries are descending on Kilkee today for the European Junior Lifesaving Championships.
The championships simulate real-life rescue scenarios that lifeguards can expect to encounter and its competitors will be pit against each other in the challenges.
They’ve been participating in gruelling tasks in Limerick, and events have been held in Kilkee since Thursday – they’ll come to an end today.
