Gospel choirs, Flamenco bands and comedians are hitting the country’s streets along with volunteers for Special Olympics Ireland today.

Around 3 thousand people will be shaking buckets across Ireland,including in Ennis, raising much needed funds for the daily running of the organisation as well as the upcoming summer games in Athens.
This is Special Olympics Ireland’s biggest annual fund-raising event and the aim is to raise a million euro in one day.
