Ennis Celebrates Status As Ireland’s Cleanest With New Monument

A permanent artwork is set to be erected in Ennis to commemorate the county town being named as Ireland’s Cleanest.

The Irish Business Against Litter group found Ennis to be cleanest town in the country in January with funding also being made available to the winners for the commission of an artwork to mark the achivement.

Blath na hInse will be unveiled in the Abbey Street Car Park in October with the project currently being produced by Kilkee Forge.
