Concern About Impact Of Power Outages Ahead Of Irish Open

Concern is being expressed in North Clare that business will be impacted if they continue to experience power outages, just weeks out from the Irish Open.

This morning, a major outage saw 6,600 homes and businesses without power in areas including Ennistymon, Lahinch and Lisdoonvarna.

ESB engineers were dispatched, with all homes now said to be back on the grid.
