Two Clare Schools Seek HSE Advice On Coronavirus After Italian Ski Trips

Two Clare schools have confirmed that they have sought advice from the HSE about Coronavirus, after groups of their students returned from skiing trips in Northern Italy.

Rice College in Ennis and St Caimin’s Community School in Shannon have been advised by the health service that as their tour groups were not in one of the quarantined towns in the last 14 days, they will not be screened.

The schools have been told there’s no need to self isolate, but that students and teachers should practice good cold hygiene.
