“Dozens” Of Clare Families Caught Up In School Transport Crisis

Dozens of families in Clare are said to be caught up in a so-called school transport crisis.

It follows reports that more than 30,000 children have applied for so-called ‘concessionary’ tickets, despite the department only issuing 24,000 so far.

Now, letters are being issued to parents, whose children have been left without a space on a school bus, just weeks before the new term begins.
