Clare Leaving Cert Parents Urged To Have Say In Major Survey On COVID Postponement

Parents of Leaving Cert pupils in Clare are being urged to have their say in a major nationwide survey on plans to defer the end-of-school exams.

The National Parents Council Post Primary has had almost 25,000 responses to its the survey examining the decision to hold the Leaving Cert in late July or early August because of the COVID-19 outbreak.

This follows concerns raised by pupils in St Caimin’s Secondary School in Shannon, who say the decision to defer hasn’t taken students’ thoughts into consideration.
