There’s been a sharp decline in the number of new cars sold in Clare across the month of March compared to this time last year.
The Society of the Irish Motor Industry has revealed that 1,126 vehicles were registered in this county last month; down from 1,354 for March of 2019.
This marks a 16% drop; however, that’s well back on the national rate of decline, with new car sales overall down 63% over the last 12 months.
