A Shannon-based precision engineering firm is to announce 60 new jobs this morning, with the opening of its new production facility.
Smithstown Light Engineering currently employs 128 people, meaning its an almost 50% increase in its workforce, while the new facility will see its Shannon operations expand to 40,000 square feet.
The firm serves the top medical device and orthopaedic companies in the world with precision engineering components.
