Minister Of State For Heritage To Meet SIPTU Workers In Bunratty Today

The Minister of State for Heritage is visiting Bunratty today amid concerns about the closure of heritage sites in the county.

Bunratty Castle & Folk Park, along with King John’s Castle in Limerick are both due to close by the end of this month, while Craggaunowen and Knappogue and Dungauire castles have remained closed since March.

Green Party Minister Malcom Noonan will meet with SIPTU workers today, in light of concerns about about the future operation of the sites.
