There’s hopes of a break through in negotiations on insurance for men’s sheds.
Men’s sheds provide a social outlet for men of all ages with time on their hands and act as a resource for a host of community and voluntary groups.
They could be under threat now however, due to rising insurance premiums – The Shannon Men’s shed has forty members who engage in a range of activities and their premium jumped by almost one thousand euro in a year.
