US President Donald Trump insists he had nothing to do with the decision that saw his Vice President stay at his family’s Trump resort.
Mike Pence has come under fire from Democrats after spending two nights in West Clare, with some saying that his trip was used to funnel US taxpayers money to the Trump family.
A senior aide to the VP had said Mr. Trump suggested that Mr. Pence stay in his Doonbeg resort, but last night the President insisted no such discussions had taken place.
