At least three Clare landmarks will take part in the world-wide greening initiative, designed to promote Ireland internationally.
From today, landmarks around the world including the Palm Fountain in Dubai, the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya and the Welcome to Las Vegas sign will all go green as part of the now annual imitative.
This year, officials hope it can help ensure Ireland is ‘top of mind’ as a great holiday destination for bookings, when the time is right.

A number of landmarks at home will also go green, including Ennis Court House, Ennis Friary and Quin Abbey from today up to St. Patrick’s Day.
