Clare VFI Says Delay In Re-Opening Pubs Would Be Drastic

The Chair of Clare VFI insists that delaying the reopening of pubs would be drastic and unfair on publicans who have done nothing wrong.

Taoiseach Micheál Martin has warned that the planned date for fully reopening pubs, July 20th, could be delayed after crowds gathered without social distancing in Dame Lane in Dublin over the weekend.

The Garda Commissioner has said, however, that in the main, publicans are complying with regulations.
