A woman has been arrested, following a burglary at a supermarket in Clare.
Shortly before 6 o’clock yesterday evening, a woman entered the private canteen area of the supermarket in Kilrush and took money from a handbag.
She then left the store without being noticed.

A garda investigation followed and a woman in her 20’s was arrested and detained at Kilrush Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
She’s since been charged to appear before the courts at a later date.
