Clare Gardaí say the May Bank Holiday weekend was an extremely quiet one for their roads policing unit, with no drink-driving arrests.
Around 30 checkpoints were manned across the entire division over the weekend, with Gardaí saying compliance levels with the rules of the road were good.
Aside from the lack of drink-driving detections or arrests, there was also no speeding drivers stopped by Garda officers in Clare.
