Council Planning To Buy Building To Act As Homeless Hub In Ennis

Clare County Council has confirmed it is planning to purchase a building in Ennis to act as transitional accommodation for homeless people.

The site of the new ‘homeless hub’ has yet to be revealed but the local authority has confirmed that it is putting it out to tender to seek operators for it.

It would act as a bridge between emergency accommodation such as hotels and social housing for those most in need.
