Clare County Council could look to provide an area for the overnight parking of motorhomes close to Ennis Town Centre.
Town Mayor Councillor Paul Murphy made the call for such a facility at this month’s meeting of the Ennis Municipal District, describing motorhome parking as an untapped potential source of revenue for the Council.
The local authority says it will consider the move, while also saying that a private operator could put the facility in place.
