Contractor To Be Appointed For Ennis South Flood Relief Scheme

Work will soon get underway on the long-awaited Ennis South Flood Relief Scheme, with news that a contractor is being appointed for the project.

Ward and Burke Engineers will take the lead on the €8.6 million project, with the letter of acceptance signed and the contract to be finalised on March 8th.

The scheme will see flood protection installed for over 120 homes and five commercial properties in area along the Clare Road, as well as at St Flannan’s College.
